Monitoring Evaluation and Learning

This course is designed to introduce participants to the concept and practice of project monitoring and evaluation. It conceptualizes the concepts as project, programme, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning, explains the different types of monitoring and evaluation and the key terms and aspects that make the practice of projects Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning. The course also educate participants on how to monitor and evaluate projects and programmes in an effort to achieve objectives and also help beneficiary communities in improving their livelihoods.

This course is designed to equip participants with knowledge and skills in Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning specific to food security and livelihoods projects. It equips participants with knowledge and skills in food security and livelihoods programming in both urban and rural settings as well as in post disaster areas as part of disaster recovery interventions. All aimed at ensuring that participants are knowledgeable and skilled enough to work to ensure effective, efficient and sustainable food and livelihoods projects through effective monitoring and evaluation and Learning.
